What does a group of touring enthusiasts do to make their lives even more exciting – Quit mundane jobs and start a touring company to make a living. This is what Arvind and Arti, the husband-wife duo set out to do. Here’s what these daredevils said when we asked them about their tour -

What was your reason behind Tour Bugs?

“We wanted to inspire more people to take up the adventure on wheels. We have explored some of the best places across India and would love to take you along on a tour you will never forget. We all have that one day saved in our lives when we will live. We will visit all the places we have seen and heard about. We want to take you with us and show you the beauty and adventure that is India. We want to literally transport people to the whole new world!

We all think about going to that pristine destination, one day. Well, with Tourbugs, that day is today. Take an unforgettable journey, and forget the rest of the mundane world. That's one caffeinated way of life.”

Can you suggest some of the journeys our audiences can plan?

“Tour Bug tours range from 2 to 22 days. In long tours, we specialize in Ladakh & Spiti Tours, Rann Of Kutch and Western Ghat Tours. If you are the game, we would even design a customized tour for you. Short tours start from 2 days to 5 days in Westernghats. In short tours, you can experience camping, bonfire and stay in Tents in Sahyadri mountain ranges. Lakeside camping, hill top camping, beachside camping, jungle Camping – you name it.

There is not much fun in going to the regular tourist spots. We scout for lesser explored locales."

Talk about taking the path less traveled. Tour Bug camping locations are quite unique & exotic places. Places which one might have never heard of before, but still near to Pune city.

What about the risks you have to face during his journeys?

“Adventure and risk go hand in hand that is why at Tourbugs, we believe safety is the most important while travelling. Our experience tour guides, riders, and other staff make sure that safety is in place throughout the trip. We always insist on wearing proper riding gear while on road for all our rides.We also provide some basic riding gears to our riders if they don’t have any.We always have a backup vehicle with us to carry first aid kit, mineral water, and other supplies. Though we take internal routes we make sure that our locations, routes are safe for everybody. Leave all the headache of managing an adventurous trip to us.”
