A day without laughter is a day wasted. True indeed!

For people who have the phrase, 'Overly serious but working on it', in their social media bios, MCaffeine thought it was the time to lighten them up! MCaffeine sponsored a stand-up comedy event- Laughter by the Lake on 21st December in South Mumbai's counterpart, Powai. This event was organized by The Brown Bread Collective whose founder Rueben Kaduskar also did a 5-minute gig. The event featured the kings of stand up comedy- Biswa Kalyan Rath- our special guest for the day, a stand up comedian and Youtuber known for his YouTube series Pretentious Movie Review, Naveen Richard- he has been in stand up comedy for over 3 years and is well known for his web series Star Boyz and Better Life Foundations, Raunaq Rajani- a veteran rapper and a stand up comedian who represents a strong Sindhi lobby in the stand up community, Vinay Sharma- he won major competitions in Mumbai and is considered one of the most promising stand up comedian of the country, and Joel Dsouza, he won every Open Mic competition and emerged as one of the most promising artists in the stand up circuit.

Don't live life too seriously, always have time to laugh. Laughter not only adds years to your life but adds life to your years! Our guests, through their performances made the audience to roll on the floor laughing and gave them the much needed dose of laughter in today's stressed and busy life. All the souls took the laughter drug to soften the harsh blows of their life and relax a little. Laughter by Lake, became an event of laughter, an event of celebration and an event of the lifetime!
